Ben is a Warrington born and bred actor and director. His artistic development began in Liverpool as he worked and learned from industry professionals. He trained in acting, directing, and musical theatre at Rare Studios and gained a distinction star at Priestly College.
In 2016 Ben began training towards his BA (Hons) Degree in Acting at The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts. At LIPA, Ben is being trained in acting for stage and screen, physical theatre, voiceover work, devising new work, and directing. Directing has always been a massive passion of Ben's alongside acting and he has directed with the likes of Nick Bagnall, Rachel Heyburn, and Nick Phillips. Ben has also recently been accepted onto the directors course at the Young Everyman Playhouse scheme with the Liverpool Everyman Playhouse.
He believes in the importance of being a portfolio artist and being proactive with his passions. In 2017, Ben co-founed BareWater Productions with LIPA Management student Ally Arnold. So far under this new company he has directed Immaculate, My Own Estimation and The Meeting which is premiering at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2018. BareWater Productions has also produced Meat Package, One Last Show, The House of Bernarda Alba and is producing a Liverpool women's festival in June.
