Ben is currently playing Assistant, Waiter and MA Soldier in 'From Morning To Midnight'  by Georg Kaiser and adapted by Dennis Kelly in 2013 and is being directed by Kay Michael. The story follows the Clerk (Berwyn Jones) and his journey of discovery at a very large cost in this expressionist play. Noughts & Crosses - LIPA

October 03, 2018

This year, Ben has been cast as the role of 'Peter' in Malorie Blackman's play, "Noughts & Crosses' . Which address the political notions of a world where tradition racial roles are switched and that white people play the minority in a British society led by hatred towards the 'Noughts'. He is super excited to get the process started that is being directed by Monique Touko in the Sennheiser Studio Theatre at LIPA from the 8th-10th November. Ticket link is below and the whole cast and crew would love to see as many as they can there!

Edinburgh Fringe Success!

August 17, 2018

'The Meeting' by Mell Flinn has now officially finished it's run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, completing Ben's first ever directing job at a fringe festival and BareWater Productions' first fringe production. 4 star reviews from Broadway meant that the audiences began to grow and grow for our final week. You can find the review below.

Ben would like to thank every single member of the  team for their incredible work towards making this production up to the level it was. During the festival, he also became an advocate for the #YesOrNo campaign on twitter with Equity and SDUK in giving actors the feedback they deserve after each audition they attend. This came about after attending the 'Directing: Best Practice' run by Stage Directors UK and debated important topics and best practice in the rehearsal room for us to create a safe and the most effective methodology for the whole company.

The whole of 'The Meeting' company would love to thank every single audience member who came to share this experience with us and, hopefully, they will see you again at the next project!

Let the 'Red and Black' Commence!!

This week Slung Low and LIPA have began full force work on creating the biggest production LIPA has ever seen. The cast and crew have now moved out of the planning and research stages into the full development stages and are now developing stories, scenes and characters. The piece is set to be the biggest fully immersive storytelling event seen in Liverpool and you would be sorry to miss this cast of 120 telling their stories through mediums of dance, acting and installations all tied together by ingenious designers. DO. NOT. MISS.
